The Blind Man – a Finnish video game released at the end of 2015.
The story of the game takes place in the night of a Finnish city. We assume that the city is in total darkness. We say “total darkness” because the people are blind, so we cannot see them. But of course they still exist.
The game starts at night in the middle of the city. We go out into the city in order to make our own life. We need to buy food, bring water, and search for the way to the main road. If we get in the main road, then the entire world opens up. We know that on the main road there are shops. We go out to buy supplies.
When we find the main road, we have to pass many obstacles. There are buses, trains, cars, people, animals, plants… All those things can cause us an accident, so we need to very carefully observe the situation. There is no time to lose, because the lights go off at 12:00.
“The Blind Man” is the first video game in Ablepsia’s new series “Mental Games”.
