I have one ViewController and multiple subViews. I like to control the events on the subviews from the parent ViewController. How can i do that?
The scenario is, I have multiple subviews, each has their own Controller. The subviews are not interactive. They just render a simple text. But i want to be able to call a method in the parent controller when the subviews are tapped in viewdidLoad.

One is to have your sub view controller implement UITapGestureRecognizer and then have it implement a method that gets called when the tap occurs. You could then implement your tap event in the parent controller.
Another way you might be able to do this is to have your parent view controller set up to receive notification of the tap events. You could then have the sub view controller’s view receive the event and then call the method you are interested in from within the view. Then when the tap occurs from the view, you would get notified through your parent controller that the tap occurred.
