Many software packages for sequence alignment and the construction of evolutionary trees have implemented their own standard of saving and reading sequence alignments. To circumvent the labourious work of manually converting alignment formats with the use of a word processor, this program was written: it converts these formats automatically.
ForCon is able to convert in both ways, i.e. reading and writing the following formats (or formats used by the following software packages):

The alignment
The files ForCon can read or write include the following alignments,
and all sequences are aligned to all sequences:

· PHYLIP
· TREECON
To ensure readable alignments with ForCon, please ensure that the following conditions are met:
· The sequences should be stored according to the following
order: (starting from the top)
· The alignment consists of more than two sequence types
· No gaps are present
· File names and sequences have the same length (including the line break characters)
We use the following regular expression (regex) for finding the line breaks:
· Lines starting with a single space are ignored
· The sequence name is followed by a single space
· One or more spaces are present between the sequence name and the sequence itself
· More than one line break character is present between the name of the sequence and the sequence
· One or more line break characters are present between the sequence and the name of the sequence
· The sequence ends with one or more line break characters
The following rules will be used for automatically removing any sequences that may not comply with the conditions:
· A sequence without a sequence name will be removed
· A sequence without a sequence name will be removed
· A sequence without the key ‘No. of sequences in alignment’ will be removed
· A sequence without a sequence name will be removed
· A sequence without the key ‘No. of sequences in alignment’ will be removed
· A sequence without the keys ‘Forward/reverse sequence’ will be removed
· A sequence without the keys ‘Forward/reverse sequence’

If you can recall, perhaps you might have heard, that we decided to change our voice team a little bit. We’ve had great success with our localization team with 1.6 and 1.7, but this time we decided to call in some new blood to join our team. Hehe.

With the size of our 2D team recently increasing with the arrival of SamuraiSanchez, a good chunk of the new characters are being given the 3D treatment, and it means we can start planning out some more skills to do it with.
Before we started working on new skills, we tried to schedule some time to work on new voices, so hopefully Mr.Doldersh, Chriss and myself will have some quite fresh ideas to communicate them with at the next gameplay update.

On top of that, we’ve got a lot of changes in store for our current end-game content. Some have been implemented, but the majority have not. We intend on making significant changes to the end-game content to make sure it is engaging and fun to play.
