I have a fairly simple configuration for ignite used in an web service. Note that this service is a long lived application, so I want to minimize load impact (as well as host cost). Of note, this is a static web service, so the data will remain static for the duration of the application, and the service will not return updated datasets. In other words, the data in the DB will be existing data, updated always by an underlying copy which has an index copied to this web instance.

Data model
Based on a “record” concept, so a record contains a bunch of fields. For now, let’s say a record is similar to an order from a web service, and contains name, expense, sales, line items and the like.
