I really like this game and it’s a perfect fit on my iPad mini. In this game you are the Macuahutil, a Nacom warrior who can use a variety of weapons. You can choose from the classic ax, mace, and spear; the o’ahu, or macuahutil, a copper shield; and a variety of other weapons. Overall, it’s a fun game and can be played over and over and over again.
Can’t wait for the next release.

Is there a mode that allows the player to use the spear as a spear? The traditional spear is way better than anything else.

First of all, horrible controls, the game freezes like every 15 seconds, there is no true way to save ( so far was the only one that tried and it didn’t work), the game is a mess, has no plot, is boring. Stop giving that awful fps crap, you know you can aim, there is no real reason why this game deserves a 5 star.

Gameplay
Gahkthun of the Golden Lighting is a story driven visual novel. It is not a combat game nor is it a jumpathon. The idea is that the player must make decisions that lead to different events and ultimately to the end of the story. You will have to make a decision or two every hour or so.
The player follows the main story of Yui and Eran. The other characters will appear as the story progresses or if there is an event to be triggered. It’s a simple system but very effective.
There is a point at the end when you have to choose what class you will take. You can change your class at any time and you can even go back to the first choice if you do decide that it is not for you.
In order to get through the story, you are bound to read and when a certain event happens and you have to make a choice, the chapter will switch to the next segment of text.
The game is set in a steampunk and fantasy version of the Victorian era. The game is most likely to be rated T. If you prefer a more mature story, you may want to avoid this game.

Season pass to come with new DLCs
It seems like the the Arma 3 Apex DLC content can be expected from 11th November onwards. At least that’s what the official website, the Arma website, has revealed about the upcoming DLC “Demo Download”.
Arma on the official website have now revealed that the first content coming with the Demo Download:
Locations – available in three different versions as named terrain, buildings and special.
Vehicles – AV-1M, UAZ-469 and PKP-1 70 units.
Weapons – Karabin with its Suppressor, Soko Gryf 11.
Rifle – the laser tracking, Mark 89 and the scope.
Weapons – modified SG2000, Carl Gustav:
Economy – Air Rifle, airburst grenades and small bombs.
Radio – Mi-8, BTR-80 and signals, gate and virtual cockpit.

mod_mono is choking my IIS site under load
I’ve written a web service that accepts a string parameter and then parses it into a JSON-formatted string. It works fine with just the web browser requesting the web service; however, once I call my services from other applications using mono, the web service respond time goes way up.
The memory consumption is gradually increasing each time I call the service.
I’m running IIS 6.0.8600.17285 on Win2008R2.

I’ve seen similar behavior when multiple threads execute the code in a process. If you’re running multiple threads from the same process, then it’s easy to imagine that you’re doing something time-consuming or blocking. I’ve seen similar behavior when I’ve used the async method to call web services – I suspect it has to do with not having enough threads to saturate the communications path.
To see what’s happening, first I’d look for non-blocking or asynchronous solutions. Second, I’d profile your server-side code and look for any time-consuming operations. Third, I’d look at the network. If you’re trying to saturate your pipe, you’ll hit a performance ceiling.
