This is a project I did that was supposed to be a fictional HAPPY HOLIDAY story for the original Vita game, but ended up being an outrageous slasher game.
The main character is Shinobi Yotsuki, a girl who tells her story while she’s being murdered. She’s alone in a strange house, but she knows that it’s not just a random place. She’s been here before and her executioner is a guy who goes by the name of “Sakura Mochi”.
When she’s nearly dead, she asks who she is and where she is, and they decide to tell her that she is the “last girl”.
The game is made as a point of not only completing the Happy Holiday story for the original game, but also finishing the main character’s story.

But on to the main part of the game. I thought it would be a good idea to make it a visual novel, but for a different game. So the story is told in a photo editor. You get little snapshots of what is happening, little snippets of dialogue, and then things happen based on what you write.
While the PVN is meant to be a fun little game, the game itself isn’t meant to be that light-hearted. It’s meant to be a gory, serious slasher game.
So, the story of Shinobi’s executioner:

She’s just the typical tomboy girl, working hard to move up in her family’s company, living her life like a typical high schooler. One day she meets a girl named “Meggy” at the neighborhood park. They become inseparable, and she decides to stick with her even after she accidentally lets it slip that she’s also a high school student.
Her life changes when she meets “Sakura Mochi.” She’s a wild girl who comes to the park all the time. They had a brief fling a while ago, but she hasn’t seen her since. Suddenly, she’s telling Shinobi that she’s a serial killer. She claims that she killed girls for all kinds of reasons, all out of passion.

Dot trix are so darn cute! Little did I know that I’d be inspired by my hubby to make these for Ruby. Take a look:
After stamping with Jet Black Stazon, I randomly stamped the top back corner with VersaMark Stazon. Then I took my Misti and filled each side of the die (on the straight fold) with Regal Rose, Red Hot and White Frills. Then I stamped the numbers “6” and “7” onto Blue Smooch with Black Stazon and then because this seemed too plain, I added a little sparkly dot!
Here are Ruby’s jewels. So much fall out but it was like Christmas morning for me! I used Min, Bil, Gaed and Aspen with a little Sapphire too. I love the way these turned out! They are sooo faaaaaabulous!
These are Ruby’s socks. I stamped the Frosted images on Clear Stazon, it was perfect. I then stamped each foot with Gathered Twigs. I purposely didn’t go too happy because I wanted her socks to have a bit of a tough look! I accented both with some Wisteria Distress Gemstones.
I’ve been sitting on this one for awhile. Well most of this my family has been sitting on it and it’s finally time to get it up. The children want a make for Father’s Day but it’ll also be our Spring Basket for Basket Fables, and it will also be sold at a craft fair one week. I just love this one so much! I actually love beads because I make a lot of jewelry with them but this dress will be had in KMC and I’m really nervous. There are so many issues in the pattern that it’s more than likely going to need a bit of alteration but I’m excited to see what it actually looks like. It’s designed by Vicki Gill of Sewing Lovin’ Princesses. Isn’t it precious?
