Navigating Hemp’s Legal Headwinds in 2022

Cannabis edibles, in particular, are known for their high potency and corresponding high levels of THC. With some of the strongest concentrate THC levels on the market, this dab is made from a combo of Bubba Kush, Deadhead OG, and Cookies. While any experienced dabhead will tell you that a good dab isn’t exclusively about finding the strongest THC concentrate, potency is still a big piece of the equation. While it may be possible to demonstrate neurotoxic actions after exposure of neurons to high concentrations of cannabinoids in vitro, there is little evidence for any significant neural damage in vivo after the administration of pharmacologically relevant doses of these drugs. Fair warning: we will be dealing with a lot of chemistry concepts (not to mention plenty of multisyllabic words), but we promise we’ll do our best to make it as accessible as possible. Plus, to really understand this unique substance, you have to delve into some pretty hairy chemistry. It takes some pretty hefty – and volatile – chemistry to create THC-O in a lab.

Lab tests show that THC-O can be 300 percent stronger than regular THC. The addition of the acetate molecule to the base THC molecule does one very important thing: It makes the THC molecule stronger. Do yourself a solid and pick up one of these bad boys today! The damage caused by certain biofuel crops has given the entire practice a bad name. It’s difficult to overdose on cannabinoids, but too much can take you way too high and give you a bad trip. It contains ordinarily happening cannabinoids, terpenes, and cannabidiol. Many years ago, NIH thought that they should look at the toxicity of CBD, because people were smoking both THC and CBD, both of which are present in marijuana: “Well, we know a little bit about THC; we know nothing about cannabidiol. The second major difference is that ATHC can only be produced in a laboratory environment. That new set of lines is the acetate molecule (the “A” in ATHC). In the bottom picture (THC-O molecule), there’s an O and a new set of lines. Trust us, it will make more sense when compared to the picture of THC-O. Additionally, as consumers become more knowledgeable about types of THC (and more information is becoming available all the time), many will want to know which THC types are included in their products. But it takes time to gain aerobic fitness — and if you don’t start training slowly or at your level, you’ll be sucking wind. So if you’re considering trying THC-O for the first time, start small (very small would be best) and increase your dosage slowly. If you’re a thinking cannaseur, you may be wondering why anyone would need something that strong. Why would anyone want that?
