The best place to start with this is to define a new delegate of type LambdaExpression. A LambdaExpression is a delegate that has the following properties and methods:

Weird stuff, huh, but this works just like a normal member function, isn’t it?
My question is: How do I write this piece of code in a portable way?
At first I did it like this:

Is this really a dependable way to change the expression into a function? Or is there a better, more portable way to do it?

You basically need to shim the current lambda expression so that your function can be invoked using it:
